Cache URLs

Cache URLs are the URLs which need to have their current cache invalidated and reset when users choose Reset Cache from their User Profile menu.

• For v5.1, these are available in the Admin UI and you can add URLs as desired. Note also from v5.1, that Reset Cache will also refresh the Site Settings cache.
• If these URLs are blank, then iAPPS will use "InvalidateCachePagesXml” from the web.config.

Adding Cache Invalidation URLs.

1. To reach Cache URLs, go to Content Manager > Administration > Site Functions > Developer Configurations.

1. Click Add New or Edit.
2. Add the New Title and URL and click Save.

 

Resetting the cache from the Admin UI

iAPPS Users can reset the cache using the User Profile drop-down. Simply click on your username and a menu will appear with options including Reset Cache.
