iAPPS now has built-in integration to pull and stream videos stored on Brightcove's servers, either via the client's Brightcove player lists or using Tags.
Brightcove will provide a Publisher ID and Read and Write Tokens for the client's Brightcove Library which need to be entered in the Video Settings (Administration > Site Functions > Developer Configurations > Video Settings.)
In addition, you will need to set up players for Brightcove. Not all players will work with all videos and vice versa.
Each Player needs the following information.
Property | Explanation |
---|---|
Pllayer Name | The name users see and use to select the player in iAPPS |
The Player ID | Brightcove is planning to replace this with the Player Key. If you want to change which player is loaded on a page, you should change the values of both the Player ID and the Player Key. |
Player Key | Unique identifier for the player, including an encrypted representation of the Player ID |
Player Minimum Height | Player Minimum Height |
Player Maximum Height | Player Maximum Height |
Playlist Player Checkbox | Whether the player will work with a playlist or not |
