The Inbound/Outbound Analysis report is a tool for providing further insight as to how visitors are navigating within your site. For any content page that you select, the Inbound/Outbound report will display the 10 most frequent pages where the current page was accessed from, as well as the most frequent 10 pages where the user went from the selected page.
This report is especially useful for product-related page hierarchies. The website designer may think that the product page information is being accessed by navigating through a hierarchy. However, if this report shows that the page is actually reached as the result of a search, then the navigational menus you think are driving visitors to your product page may or may not be not working as well as they should.
