Tax Settings

iAPPS supports two types of tax data through providers, the base iAPPS tax data and CyberSource.

iAPPS provides a base tax provider (baseTaxProvider), which runs tax data for a given zip code. The associated tax rates are updated with each iAPPS release. Tax data is held in a custom database and pulled from the webservice hosted in SaaS,
If for any reason, you want to schedule or otherwise control the data you have to install the webservice in your environment and need to buy license for data from Tax Data Systems or similar service.
For CyberSource the service points to a CyberSource web URL. You need to setup an account with CyberSource to use it.
Alternatively, developers can override the Tax Service in iAPPS and can point it to any other Tax data provider.
