Product Features let you merchandise in broad cross-product categories, such as top sellers, recently-viewed products, or new products. You can create areas on the site (typically, the Product List page or a Product Detail page) for featured products.
iAPPS Commerce generates automatic features such as Top Sellers and New Products. Whether you use these features and where you use them on the front-end depends on your site-specific needs and design. Commerce also provides the ability to manually add other features, such as Featured Brands.
While Commerce includes Automatic Features such as Top Sellers, you can also add manual features.

Note: The Add Manual Feature must be enabled by your developer in the back-end template for the feature page. See the Commerce Developer Information.
To manage feature product appearances:
- Add a new product to this feature (Manual Features Only)
- Remove a product from the feature
- View product details
On Manual Features, you can change the order of products by selecting “Enable WebSite Display Sorting” in the top right of the container.
On either type of feature, select “Include Inactive Products” to include inactive products in the list of products on the Features container. Products not currently available for sale can be designated as inactive. If inactive products are included, they will return to the feature set once reactivated.
To deactivate a feature:
Inactive features are no longer available for use but the information remains in the system and can be re-activated.
Note: Because Automatic Feature categories Top Seller and New Products are automatically managed by iAPPS Commerce, products cannot be added to Automatic Features.
You can add a new product to a manually created feature category.
