Individual Product Inventory Options

To manage inventory options, either

• From the Products tab right-click on a product in a row in a table and select Manage Inventory.
• Alternatively, once you are in the product details area, click Inventory.

This will display the inventory options.

Whether or not you can manage the inventory for products in this screen depends on whether you have manual restocking and inventory or external synchronized inventory set up in your warehouses. If you have a synchronized inventory, you will be unable to make any manual changes.

If you have manual inventory options, you can manage the inventory for products thorough this inventory interface.  For each warehouse you have set up, you have the following information:

You cannot adjust the inventory if you are using an external warehouse with synchronized inventory.

If you have manual inventory control, you can adjust the number in stock.  When overriding the value, you should pick a reason in the drop-down box. Choose among the available reasons (for example, lost, damaged, new shipment, physical count) or choose “other” and enter reason in the text box.

1. Changing the In Stock quantity will update the Available to Sell Quantity. Until you have saved your changes the two quantities will reset to the previous amount if you click Reset.
2. If desired, you can also set the quantity to be unlimited (this might be the case for digital products, for example.)

3. Click “Show SKUs” to see a list of all related SKUs, if applicable.

Selecting multiple SKUs from this list applies all changes you make on this view to those SKUs as well.

4. Click “Hide SKUs” to close that menu.

5. When you are satisfied with your inventory choices, click Save.

Managing Inventory Notes

You can add inventory notes to products listed in the Product Catalog.

• Right-click an SKU in the Products table, and select Manage Inventory Notes (These are different from Product Notes).

• Enter an inventory note and click Save.
