Product Information
To set product-specific information, click the snap down arrow to display the Product Information container.
Note: Changing details here will change them across the product, as opposed to the SKU-level attributes in the SKU Specific Information container.
Advanced Details on the left include:
- If the product is available to sell
- Can be bought with Gift Cards or not
- Excluding the product from discounts; for example, coupons or Price Sets
- Excluding the product from shipping promotions; for example, a large item with special handling might not be considered for reduced shipping.
- If there are Extra Freight Charges
- If the product is tax exempt
- If it is part of a bundle
- If the product is refundable (downloadable media or custom personalized items, for example, are not commonly not refundable).
Attributes shown in the Product Information container relate to the product level and thus those available change with the product. They include
- The HTML Attribute allows you to add a piece of HTML code that executes on the front-end website when this product is displayed.
- This can be used to simply present information, or it can be a script to provide tagging, data formatting etc. directly on the front-end Product Detailpage.
- The External File Upload Attribute can display multi-media presentations like promotional videos.
