Custom Settings

To change any Developer Configurations, you must be logged in as an install or site administrator.

You can use custom settings instead of webcustom.config entires. 

1. To reach custom settings go to Content Manager > Administration > Site Functions > Developer Configurations.

3. In the Custom Settings tab, click Create New.
4. Fill in your setting key and value.
   1. You can use FWAppSettings.GetValue(“Key”)  for siteSettings/web.config entries as well as webcustom.config/custom site settings.
   2. Otherwise you can directly use SiteSetting.Instance.CustomSettings(“Key”) for custom site settings.
5. Click Save at the upper right of the screen.
6. You can add multiple custom settings, if wished.

To delete a custom setting, click the X icon at the end of the listing.

Note: Remember values in the Admin UI site settings override the web.config values(if any).
