Deleting and Archiving Pages

To delete a page:

1. From Menus & Pages (Manage Site Assets > Libraries > Menus and Pages), navigate to the menu node where the page is stored.
2. In the list of pages, highlight the page and from the More Menu, select Delete Page.
3. You will receive a confirmation popup. Click OK.
4. The selected page no longer appears in the page list.

Note: When you delete a page, you only delete the instance of the page. The page's content items remain stored in the iAPPS database for later reuse.

You cannot delete content from the Data Libraries, only archive it.

 

You can archive a page that has previously been published to make it no longer visible on a site.

You can only archive pages that have been published. Otherwise, delete the draft page instead.

To archive a page:

1. From Menus & Pages (Manage Site Assets > Libraries > Menus and Pages), navigate to the menu node where the page is stored.
2. In the list of pages, highlight the page and from the More Menu, select Archive.
3. You will receive a confirmation popup. Click OK.
4. Depending on your status drop-down, you may or may not see the archived page in the page list. To view it, choose Archived or All Statuses from the Status drop-down.

 

To make a page active again:

1. Depending on your status drop-down, you may or may not see the archived page in the page list. To view it, choose Archived or All Statuses from the Status drop-down.
2. In the list of pages, highlight the page and from the More Menu, select Make Active.
3. The page will show its changed status in the page listings.
4. If the page is associated with a menu that has workflow, the Publish Workflow container appears. Select the appropriate workflow for this page.
