You can use the Link icons to create a link to pages in your site, external URLs, email addresses and other destinations. The relevant buttons to this are shown below, as well as the icon for removing a hyperlink.
You can create both a Link to Library as well as link to a certain place on a page or number of external types of content.
In general, if you have existing links and want to change them, it's best to remove the old link first before adding the new one to ensure that all the HTML link code is removed.
To create a link to an item in the library, follow these steps:
To create a link within the text to a window, custom target, anchor, or email, the steps are slightly different. For both:
The Hyperlink Manager dialog appears. It has a hyperlink, anchor and email tabs as seen below.
Specify the link target as described in the following table:

Click the “OK” button to save and create your hyperlink.
The tabs for the Link Manager for the CK Editor are slightly different. Enter information in the fields in accordance with the description in the table below the tab images.

Hit OK when you are finished adding information. Be sure to save the changes in your content as a whole before closing the text editor.
