iAPPS Content Manager Overview
iAPPS Content Manager is an user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) that enables website administrators to create and manage multiple websites, CMS users, and website users.
- Users create and edit pages for websites using page templates, which define a page’s layout and content options and keep them consistent from page to page. Pages can include text, images, video and links to documents such as PDF files.
- iAPPS will also allow you to gather information from online forms, or add coupons and videos to your site.
- Those content items are stored in “libraries” that are organized in folders in the same way you would store information on any computer. This allows easy access and reuse of the same content.
- With iAPPS Content Manager, multiple users can work on the same pages at different times, as determined by user roles and workflows.
- User roles and permissions are used to control access to iAPPS authoring, publishing and administration, so organizations can control and manage website contributors.
- iAPPS is web-based, so there is no software to download, and you can access the system from any computer with an Internet connection.
The user interface for iAPPS Content Manager consists of a Control Center and Admin views for frequently performed tasks, and a Site Editor for creating and editing pages and submitting them into workflow. You will do most of your work in the contextual “Site Editor,” that allows you to see the page as it will appear on the website, so you’ll know how your pages will look in advance.
Content Manager is integrated with other iAPPS products, allowing you view website statistics, send email campaigns, manage products and inventory and update your social media, all in one simple interface.
