You can change which contacts are included in a distribution list by adding contacts to it or removing them from it.

To change which contacts are included in the list, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on a distribution list and select Manage Contacts.
   The Manage Contacts for Distribution List container appears.
2. To add new contacts to a distribution list, follow Steps 6 – 9 in the Adding New List section of this guide.
3. To remove a contact from the distribution list, click the checkbox beside a contact in the Selected Contacts list and then choose Remove Selected Contact.

4. Click Save.
   
   iAPPS Marketier saves your changes to the distribution list.

You can assign index terms (to add a tag that you can use to group, filter or collect information) to a distribution list.  Index Terms, which can be used for content items, images, files and even users, are added through the Content Manager Module.  See the iAPPS Content Manager User Guide for more information.

To assign Tags to a distribution list:

1. Right-click on a distribution list and select Assign Tags.
   
   An Assign Tags popup appears.

1. Click + to expand the list of Tags
2. Click the check box beside the folder or individual Tag to add to this list.
3. If you select a folder, a confirmation dialog appears, prompting you to specify whether you want to include all the subterms in the folder. Click Yes or No.
4. Click Save.

To archive a list:

1. Right-click on a distribution list with a status of “Active” and select Archive.
2. The list appears in the Distribution List grid with a status of “Archived”. You can no longer use this list to send an email or response.

To make an archived list active:

1. Right-click on a distribution list with a status of “Archived” and select Make Active.
2. The list appears in the Distribution List grid with a status of “Active.” You can now use this list to send an email or response.

You can export a distribution list to a .csv file for use in Excel.

To export a distribution list to Excel, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on a distribution list and select Export List to Excel.
   An Opening DistributionList.csv dialog appears with the “Save File” radio button selected by default.
2. Click “OK”.
   A save to… dialog appears.
3. Specify a filename and click Save.
   iAPPS Marketier downloads the distribution list to the specified filename and location.
