Managing Video Content

1. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon next to the video container you want to edit and select Insert Video.
2. The Insert Video dialog appears:

3. You can choose multiple options for inserting videos, such as Brightcove or via Embed Code.
4. To insert via Brightcove, you will choose whether to play a single video, a preset playlist, or using tags.
5. Choose the type of player that you want. Exact options are customized for each website, but generally include a single video player and ones with more playlist options.
   1. To see what the player looks like, choose a player from the drop-down list and click Preview Player.
6. Highlight the video or videos you want and click Select.
   Content Manager inserts the selected video(s) into the container.
7. Be sure to save your changes by saving the page as a draft or publishing.

2. Alternatively,to insert an image in a rich text area, simply click the Insert Image icon,on your text editor toolbar.

4. You can choose multiple options for inserting videos, such as Brightcove or via Embed Code.
5. Choose Embed Code.
6. Paste an embed code for the video you want into the open field. You can get embed codes for many common video sites such as YouTube or Vimeo. Instructions on where you can get the embed code are below.

7. Once you've put in the code for the video you want and click Select.
   Content Manager inserts the selected video(s) into the container.

8. Be sure to save your changes by saving the page as a draft or publishing.

You can also used Embed Codes to insert videos in Rich Text Areas by switching to the HMTL or Source view and pasting the embed code in to the spot you want the video inserted.

1. In Site Editor, click the Edit (Pencil) icon next to the container where you want to use the video and choose either Create or Edit Text as you need.
2. Edit the text and other elements you want in the text box.
3. Go to the area where you like the video to appear.
4. Click the HTML view button <> at the bottom of the edit screen to switch to HTML view mode.
5. Paste in the entire embed code from your YouTube video into the HTML view.
6. Return to the normal edit view by clicking on the Pencil at the bottom of the editor.
7. Save your content as you would normally.
8. Be sure to save your changes for the page by saving the page as a draft or publishing.

2. Navigate to the video you want to embed on the site.
3. Click the Share link that is just underneath the video player. You will see several share options.
4. Choose Embed.
5. A field will appear under the image. Copy the entire bit of the code, which identifies that unique video, and paste it into the Embed Code Field.
6. Click Select and your video will appear on the page.
7. Be sure to save your changes by saving the page as a draft or publishing.

The process for Vimeo is very similar.

1. Click on the “Share” icon on the right part of the screen.
2. The Vimeo screen will show you an Embed option that is full of code.
3. Again, copy the entire code and paste into the Embed code area of iAPPS.
4. Click Select and your video will appear on the page.
5. Be sure to save your changes by saving the page as a draft or publishing.

To remove a video from a video container:

1. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon next to the image container you want to edit and select Remove video.
2. Content Manager deletes the image from the container and displays a container with an Insert Video message.

To remove a video from a rich text area:

1. Highlight the video and click Delete on your keyboard.

You can prevent a video from displaying in a page by hiding it.

This only works for videos in containers. If the video is in rich text, you would need to either hide the entire text container or delete the video.

When you hide items, they display in the Site Editor Edit mode, but not in Overlay or View as Live modes because they will be hidden from the live website.

To hide a video:

1. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon next to the container you want to edit and select Hide.
2. The image now appears in Site Editor Edit mode, but not in Overlay or View as Live modes.

To display again:

1. Click the Edit (Pencil) icon next to the hidden container and select Show.
