To manage the shipper settings, go to Administration> Developer Configurations > Shipper Settings to display the Manage Shippers container.

To enable the real-time shipping features, check the box Use Real-Time Shipping, and ensure the value for the Default Address ID is filled out. If you need an Address ID, talk to your developer.

The Details tab displays on the right of the Shipping Methods screen.

The Shippers tab on the left shows a hierarchy you can manipulate in the following ways:

• Expand the tree to display shipping vendors and methods. 

• To add a new method, right click on the appropriate vendor name and select Add a Method. Enter information in the Details tab. If you are using flat-rate shipping, you will edit those details in the Shipping Option Rates tab.  If your organization is using the real-time shipping functionality, it must be enabled in the Site Settings.

• To delete a method, simply right click and select Delete Method.

• Drag-and-drop a shipping method to sort the order of shipping methods.

The Shipper Details area shows the vendor name, description, tracking URL, and whether the method is active or not.

The Tracking URL is entered in your site settings and is usually the default URL for the shipper’s tracking service.

To manage details for shipping vendors:

1. Select a shipping vendor in the left tree.
2. Edit the name and description.  If you want to deactivate a shipping vendor.or method, set the "Is Active" field to "False."
   • For example, if you set USPS as inactive, it does not show up as a shipping option on the front-end website.

More shipping options may be displayed in the system by default than you use. If so, then you will need to remove any your organization does not support .

To delete a shipping method:

1. Highlight in the menu structure on the left.  Right-click and select Delete Shipping Method.

To add a new shipping method:

1. Right click a shipping vendor and select Add Shipping Method.

2. Provide a name for the new method, and fill in the details on the right side of the screen.

To change shipping method information for an existing method:

1. On Details subtab, first click the shipping method name in the Shippers subtab.

2. Change the Details as follows:

Name	Revise the name.
Description	Enter descriptive text for the shipping method service.
Days to Ship	Enter the number of days for the customer to receive the product. For example the front-end website could inform the customer that the product can ship in two days with FedEx 2nd.
Is Active	Set this field to "False" to deactivate a shipping method and remove it from the front-end website shipping options..
Is International	“True” will allow international shipping
Service Code	A service code used by Shipping Vendors.  This can either be a number corresponding to the particular shipping method or name, such as FEDEX_2_DAY_AM.  Common codes are listed below and are also available from the shipping vendors.

Current shipper codes are below but you should check with each vendor to obtain a developers manual, ensure you are using the most updated codes, or if you need additional values not listed here.

Real-time shipping costs are calculated based on shipping method, box size, and location.  These options are set up in the Shipping Containers screen and Developer Configurations (Shipper Settings).  See "Setting up Shipping Containers for Real-time Shipping" for more information. However if you are using flat rate shipping those rates must be set up manually. You will only be able to enter rates in the Shipping Option Rates tab if that is the standard shipping method for your company. See below for details.

1. If you are using the flat-rate shipping method, highlight a shipping method and click the Shipping Option Rates tab to set up the rates. You can also use it to set up an extra delivery charge.

Flat-rate shipping sets a Shipping Price based on the price of the product. For example, if the product price ranges from zero to $100, the Shipping Price is $10; from $100 to $199, the rate will be $20, etc.

2. Use the table below to set the Start Amount and End Amount, and then assign a Shipping Price for each range.

Note that these shipping rates do not include products with Attributes specifying special handling fees. Those extra rates are applied to the total shipping cost at checkout.

3. When you are finished changing details, click Save.
