The payment process starts when a customer selects a payment method, such as gift card or credit card. iAPPS Commerce manages payments via a payment gateway that handles credit card, Paypal, gift cards and other transactions. Commerce provides the payment company with payment data and manages the authentication between your store server and the payment gateway.
The payment gateway is set up during the development process for iAPPS. Depending on the payment gateway your company chooses, the payment process can be in a foreign currency.
During the checkout process customers must select a payment method. A return customer who has previously saved credit card information can apply it as payment by selecting it from the drop-down Saved Cards list.

Coupons are cash equivalents applied to the Shopping Cart at checkout time. They may have a limited lifetime, and be associated with the customer, certain products or SKUs or Product Types. A CSR may issue a coupon for a future discount to retain a customer.
Coupons can be applied as either a percentage discount or a dollar amount discount off of the order, a product or shipping charges.

Pricing levels or Price Sets are a list of specific, customer-based discounts that apply only to a specific population of shoppers. Pricing levels are ordered by value; a shopper who belongs to more than one level will always receive the largest discount.
