Much of the configuration for warehouses is done through the iAPPS Commerce admin user interface. Go to Administration > Warehouses.
This initial screen lists Warehouses and basic information about them, such as Address; type of inventory management; and shipping coverage. From here you can edit, disable or delete the warehouse information.

However, before setting up any warehouses, you must have Warehouse providers.
Warehouse providers allow your installation of iAPPS to communicate with the warehouse to deal with tasks such as inventory or restocking. iAPPS Commerce now integrates out of the box with UPS fulfillment and global warehousing system, which can be accessed by choosing the default External Warehouse Provider.

If you are you using out-of-the-box integration with GWS then all the messages are handled, formatted, send and received without any custom coding by the developer.
If you using GWS you will need to set up accounts with UPS, a process which is outlined in the next section. If you are using the default manual or digital provider, then no additional configuration is necessary, and you can move on to creating warehouses.
