Working in the Menus and Pages Library

The Menus & Pages Library contains all of the menu and sub-menu navigation items for the site, as well as all pages. Menus are detailed more in the sections below. Details on working with Pages are in their own Managing Pages section.

Working with Menus

You can work with menus from:

You perform the following tasks in managing the menu items of a site. The table below shows whether you can perform the task in Site Editor or in the Menus & Pages screen.

Note that not all users can change menus. Only users with the Content Administrator or Nav Editor role can perform menu-related tasks. Also, not all menu tasks can be done from Site Editor.

More on Pages

iAPPS Content Manager allows you to manage pages from two areas: the Menus and Pages Library interface and from the contextual Site Editor. For some tasks it is easier to use the menu-based interface available in the Administrative sections of Content Manager.This might be the case, for example, when you are adding a new section of the site and creating a lot of pages at one time. There are also some tasks, such as delete pages,which require you to use the Admin UI. For most tasks, though, you'll likely use Site Editor. See "Using Site Editor to Manage Content Pages"
