Working with Page Notes

Content Manager also includes a feature that allows you to create and store permanent notes about the page currently open in the Site Editor.

These notes are available to authors, workflow reviewers, and site previewers.

Creating Page Notes

To create a new page note:

  1. Ensure Page Notes are open.
  2. Click in the Page Notes dialog text box where Click to add a comment displays.
  3. A standard note appears in black text. To make an important note appear in red text, click the “High Priority” checkbox.
  4. Click the “Save Note” button. The note you entered appears in the Page Notes list.

Be careful with your entries. Page Notes cannot be deleted. They will also be visible to any site previewers, who can also add notes.
